Hunkerdown Hollow is unique lakeside farmstay, nestled at the foot of the Great Smoky Mountain National Park. We offer accomodations in 3 distinct parts of the farm:
*The Campsite is a private, gated peninsula with glamping accomodations. The canvas tent contains a comfortable queen size bed. A detached outhouse has a composting toilet.
*The Barnyard is located in the heart of the farm. Guests can stay in a 36 foot, 2 bedroom camper that can comfortably sleep 6. Outside of the camper, you are greeted with the sites, sounds, and smells (!) of our barnyard which currently includes chickens and goats!
*The Island sits in in the main channel of Douglas lake, connected to the main property by a land bridge. Guests will stay in The Lighthouse, a 3-story, 1300 sq. foot landmark along the coast of Douglas Lake.
